An artist creates a painting that measures 2.5 feet by 5 feet. A buyer requests that a similar painting be created that is related by a scale factor of 1.8. The buyer plans to use a wooden border as the frame of the painting.

How many feet of wood will he need for the border?

Thank you!

He wants the scale factor to be 1.8
So 2.5×1.8=4.5 and 5×1.8=9
And the border would also be known as the perimeter and perimeter is side+side+side+side and so on
9+9+4.5+4.5=27

he will need 27ft of wood for the border.
