What is the best approximation for the area of this circle?

Use 3.14 to approximate pi.
The radius is labled 4.

Since: Area of a circle: A =
\pi * r² ';

And: A =
\pi = 3.14 * 4² = 3.14 * 16 ;

We know that the area will be a bit more that ( 3 m * 16 m = 48 m²) ;

Area of circle = πr² = 3.14×4² = 50.24m²

The best approximation is C.
