The area of any triangle is base times height divided by 2.

Let x be the base length.

Basically, using the numbers given, the equation would be

(4*x)/2 = 20
4*x = 40
x= 10

The base of the triangle is 10 m.

Area of triangle;
A = (B * H)/2
A = 20
H = 4
20 = 4B/2
20 = 2B
B=10

Base length is 10
