If you are trying to find an area you have to multiply the original area by a squared scale factor.

If you'll have to find the volume, you'll have to multiply the original volume by a cubed scale factor.

If you'll need to find the perimeter, just multiply the original perimeter by the scale factor

I learned a formula that said if each side of a figure is dilated by x, the formula is dilated by x^2. I'm not 100% sure if this works on triangles, but I believe the answer is 480cm^2
