Each shape has a certain number of sides and to solve problems like this you would divide the sides With the perimeter of it, and in this case it has eight so you would divide 14 ft by 8ft
14/8=1.75

The answer is D because the polygon has eight sides so you divide the perimeter by the number of sides to get the answer.
