Can three points in a plane always form a triangle? I need help with like all Geometry because me teacher doesn't know how to teach.

Most of the time yes. I can only think of one situation in which it wont. And that would be it all of the points were in the same line.

Three points in a plane may not necessarily form a triangle. Let's say three points have the same x-value but different y-values. Then these points will form a line segment rather than a triangle
