Hello! !!!
Here's Your Answer :
Let the number be x.
=>According to Question .
3x - 5 = 2x + 1
3x - 2x = 1 + 5
1x = 6
x = 6
So, the number is 6.

Make ‘x’ the number:
Thrice the number - 5 is greater than twice the number by 1
So to make them equal each other, subtract 1 from the thrice number - 5
