Answer:

A

D

Explanation:

The way that I would do this is by plugging in 2 values for x, double it then see what happens

Let's say 2

So when we plug in 2 for x we get

5*2=y

y=10

Then what happens when we double x?

Our new equation would be 10x

*we get this becase 5*2=10*

so we plug in to for y=10x and get y=10*2 which is 20. Our answer doubled and therefore the answer is A

Let's do the same thing for number 2 with the number 10

5/10=.5

Then when the value of x triples our new equation is 5/3x

we use this formula and get 5/(3*10)=5/30=1/6=.1666667

This is equal to dividing it by 3 which means the answer is D
