remmber you can do anything to an equation as long as you do it to both sides

6g=4
divide both sides by 6
(6g)/6=4/6
(6/6)g=2/3
1g=2/3
g=2/3

6g=4 now divide both sides by 6
g=4/6 simplify
g=2/3
