Explanation:

The first thing we do to solve this is factor is completley

You can factor out a 4 from the numerator and get

4(3x+4)

The denominator is a difference of squares which means that

(x^2-y^2)=(x-y)(x+y)

which means that 9x^2-16=

(3x-4)(3x+4)

Put these together and get


(4(3x+4))/((3x-4)*(3x+4))

The 3x+4 cancels out and we get left with


(4)/(3x-4)
