B. Paul displays his sports trophies on shelves in his room. He has 5 trophies on each of 3 shelves and 2 trophies on another shelf. Write an expression to represent the number of trophies Paul displays.

(5 times 3) + 2 that's because he has 5 trophies in 3 selves so we multiply 5 times 3. Then we add 2 so the answers 17

Well if there is 5 trophies on 3 shelves then the first thing you should know is that you have to multiply. So.. 5*3 Then the next thing is that Paul has 2 more trophies on another shelf. So  you add those two trophies on to the expression. 5*3+2. ...Hope this helps :)
