A circular tablecloth is 5 feet in diameter. What is the approximate distance around its border?

Cicumference is Πx diameter
3.14x5=15.70

The distance around a circle's border is known as the circumference. The formula of the circumference is 2*pi*r, which is also equal to d*pi. r is the radius, and d is the diameter. Plugging the diameter in:
5pi = 15.7079 feet

The approximate distance is 16 feet, or just use the value above.
