I believe the answer if 4.5. First convert to an improper fraction.
4*10=40
40+5=45
This gives you 45/10.
Divide.
45/10=4.5

Hope this helps!

4 5/10 to decimal is 4.5, just divide the fraction top from bottom to get 0.5 and add it to 4 to get 4.5
