Answer:

The x-intercept is A) (5,0) and the y-intercept is B) (0,20).

Explanation:

The x-intercept is the point where a line crosses the x-axis, and the y-intercept is the point where a line crosses the y-axis.

We're asked to determine the intercepts described by the following linear equation:

(2)/(5)x+(1)/(10) y=2

To find the x-intercept, let's substitute y = 0 into the equation and solve for x:

(2)/(5)x+(1)/(10)\left(0\right)=2\\\\(2)/(5)x+0=2\\\\5\cdot (2)/(5)x=2\cdot \:5\\\\2x=10\\\\x=5

The x-intercept is A) (5,0)

To find the y-intercept, let's substitute x = 0 into the equation and solve for y:

(2)/(5)\left(0\right)+(1)/(10)y=2\\\\0+(1)/(10)y=2\\\\10\cdot (1)/(10)y=2\cdot \:10\\\\y=20

The y-intercept is B) (0,20)
