Solve for x. x+4/x+9= 6/5

Times both sides by (x+9). You would get x+4 = (x+9)(6)/5. Then times by 5, when everything is expanded you should get 5x + 20= 6x + 54. All you have to do now is collect like terms and solve for x. You should get x = -34
