(1/2)*a-((1/3)*a) = 2 // - 2
(1/2)*a-((1/3)*a)-2 = 0
(1/2)*a+(-1/3)*a-2 = 0
1/6*a-2 = 0 // + 2
1/6*a = 2 // : 1/6
a = 2/1/6
a = 12
