Answer:

Chloroplast

Step-by-step explanation:

All the organic material on the planet of Earth is produced in the process of photosynthesis which occurs in the cell a cell organelle called chloroplast. It is a type of plastid. The chloroplast is surrounded by a double membrane.

A third inner membrane called the thylakoid membrane. The thylakoid membrane folded and look like stacks of coins. The space between the thylakoid and the chloroplast membranes is the ground substnces or matrix called the stroma. The stroma conatins enzymes for the carbon fixation.

On the thylakoid membrane, the primary photosynthetic pigment, chlorophylls are present. The chlorophyll absorbs red and blue light more strongly and reflects green light. That’s why chlorophyll appears green.
