The way a bird constructs its nest is an example of a learned behavior of an animal. Learned behavior occurs after experience or practice. It is more flexible than an innate behavior. Innate behaviors cannot be learned or changed. When conditions change, learned behaviors also change. Humans are the most intelligent type of animals. They become what they are depending on what environment had taught them and adopt to it.
