Take 30 percent of 120 or set a proportion
1) 30/100*120
=3/10*120
=360/10
=36
36 schools have a foreign language program
Proportion
2) 30/100=x/120
=3/10=x/120
=360=10x
=360/10=10/10x
=36=x
36 students have a foreign language program.
