What is the height of a rectangle when I base is 8 ft and the area is 30 ft

To do this you have to fill in the equation
base*height=area, but you don't know the height, so we'll use
h for height. Plugging in the numbers you gave me, the equation is:
8*h=30. To solve this, we need to find
h. To find height you do
(area)/(base). Doing this, we get
h = 3.75 ft.
