Disadvantages: we wouldn't be able to get around to places in the same amount of time, it would take at least double the time.
We would have to walk, bike, skate, run, and use airplanes to get everywhere which takes a lot of time / money.
Advantages: it would help stop / prevent global warming, pollution, deaths ( because of car accidents), more open space and nature.
