Milestones are important in a lifetime fitness plan because they are the checkpoints so to speak.. These are goals that you want to reach along the way. Milestones should be celebrated whether they are big or small because they are achievements! and example of a milestone would be:
If someone wanted to lose 30 pounds, and they weighed themselves once a week, the milestones would be when they have lost 10 pounds, then 20 pounds, and finally the grand finale 30 pounds.
