It would be if i get my calculations right you would find a number than times it by three and then add it to your starting number and that would be your answer. Hope this helped you find your answer.

he has 75 pencils because 25 multiplied by 3 is 75. so he would have 25 pans and 75 pencils in order to have 100 writing
utensils
