Sergi says that 10% of a number will always be less than 20% of any other number. Complete one inequality to support Sergi’s claim and one to show that he is incorrect

Answer:

x × 0.1 < y × 0.2

x = 100, y = 10

Explanation:

10% of a really large number can be bigger than 20% of a small number. 10% of 100 is 10. 20% of 10 is 2. 10 is bigger than 2 so Sergi's claim is false.
