The hypotenuse of a 30°- 60°- 90° right triangle measures 22 cm. What are the lengths of the longer leg and shorter leg?

So remember that the longest side is 2x the shorter side is x, and the middle side is x by square root of 3. Hypotenuse is the longest side, so to find x, divide 22 by 2 and x=11. Now to get the other length by multiplying 11 by square root of 3, which is 11 and square root of 3. You can get the exact answer by typing that into a calculator.

sin(30)=ops/hyp=x/22
22*sin(30)=opposite
22*sin(60)=opposite
