1. It's pi, not pie (I know they sound the same, but still.)

2. Pi is 3.14159265359 (shortened to 3.14). It's used as a random number for an algebraic equation such as 6 - 9 * (pi)

Pi is a number- approximately 3.14
It is the circumference of any circle divided by its diameter
