5x + 10y = 18
x = y - 6
substituting y - 6 in for x in the first equation
5(y - 6) + 10y = 18
5y - 30 + 10y = 18
15y = 48
y = 3.2
x = y - 6
x = 3.2 - 6
x = -2.8
answer
(-2.8, 3.2)
