Tip= 0.2 x 110=22
Tax= 0.08 x 110 =8.8
Pay amount= 110+8.8+22
Pay amount=$140.80 hoped that helps:)

Answer: The final amount you will pay is $140.8

Explanation:

Hi, to answer this question we have to calculate the amount of tax paid by multiplying the cost of the meal by the tax percentage in decimal form (8/100)

Tax =110 x (8/100) = $8.8

Since the tip is based on the pre -tax amount, we do the same for the tip.

Tip= 110 x (20/100) = $22

Finally we add both amounts to the cost of the meal

Final amount = meal cost+ tax amount+ tip = $110 +$8.8+$22= 140.8
