If the width is 5 ft, then the total width would be 10 ft. The perimeter is 60, so in order to find the total length, you subtract: 60 - 10 = 50.
The total length would be 50 feet, and one side would be 25 feet.

60 feet is the perimeter.
perimeter = w * l
60=5*l
(divide both sides by 5)
L=12
the length is 12 feet
