Given hypotenuse of the triangle

AC = 12√2 and AB = x

Step(ii):-

we will choose sine function


sin\alpha = (opposite side)/(hypotenuse)


sin\alpha = (x)/(12√(2) )

Given that an angle ∝ = 45°


sin45 = (x)/(12√(2) )


(1)/(√(2) ) = (x)/(12√(2) )


(1)/(1 ) = (x)/(12)

x = 12

Final answer:-

x = 12
