you would do 50*.86 because percents are out of 100. Multiply and you get 46. Therefore, 46 people like their job! Hope I helped you understand and this proves helpful :)

To find 86% of 50, you do 50*.86 (because .86 is the decimal form of the percentage 86%)
50*.86=43 people
