Instructions: Find the slope of the line through the pair of points. Use the forward slash (i.e. "/") for all fractions (e.g. -1/2 is the same as −12). Make sure to reduce all fractions.

Given the following question:

(-9, 5) = (x1, y1)

(-11, -9) = x2, y2)

The formula for slope:

\begin{gathered} (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) \\ (-9-5)/(-11--9) \\ -9-5=-14 \\ -11--9=-2 \\ =(-14)/(-2)=-14/-2=7 \\ m=7 \end{gathered}
