To Find : . She wants to enlarge the photograph so that its width is 10 in. what will the height of the enlarged photograph be

Solution :

Since width of the of the photo was 4 inches

After the enlargement the width becomes 10 inches

So, the scale factor for this enlargement =
(10)/(4) =2.5

Thus scale for the enlargement is 2.5

So enlargement of height will be done by using this scale

Since the height of the photo was 6 inches

So the height of the enlarged photo = 6 * 2.5 =15 inches

Thus the height of the enlarged photo is 15 inches
