The correct answer is B) New England and Middle.

The colonial area or areas that placed a high value on religious freedom were New England and Middle.

For instance, William Penn, the founder of the Quaker colony in Pennsylvania, and the Quakers enjoyed the freedom to practice his religious teachings with liberty, something they couldn't do in England. Of course, they allowed other religious expressions to be practiced in the middle colonies. Other people that had problems with religion and tolerance in Europe decided to arrive at Pennsylvania for its religious tolerance. They were the Lutherans, Amish, and Protestants.
