C is the incorrect answer, I just had it on my test and got it wrong :( Therefore, I believe the correct answer to your question is...

a. celebrated Christian religion in their poetry.

D is definitely not correct, because only one of the women wrote and published the Tenth Muse. It also contained only one person (her) poetry.
