Okay, In Order to solve this equation, we need to look at our equation.

2x-3x+18

With this, We have terms that we can combine to make it look neater. We can combine 2x an -3x.

This means our equation will now look like:

-x+18.

If we are wanting to find what X equals, we need to get the X value alone, meaning we would have to subtract 18 from both sides. Our equation will now look like:

-x=-18.

Although X is technically alone, we are not finished. We cannot have a -x when we are searching for a x. In order to find the x value, we need to multiply each side by -1. Our equation will now look like:

x=18.

Your final answer is

x=18.
