A teacher tells 6 students the title of the next school play. Those students each tell the title to 6 students.Then those additional students each tell the title to 6 students. How many students have been told the title of the next play? plz help. thx:)

There would be 18 students that know he plays name now

Well if 6 students tell 6 students each, it would be 6*6 which is 36. And then those 36 students tell 6 more students each. So you would multiply 36*6. Which is 216. So in total, 216 students have been told the title of the play.
