A rectangle park has an area of 6 square miles.The width of the property is 3/8 the length of the property.What is the width of the property?

Okay so first we start off with what we know. A=6, and w=(3/8)l. So the forumla for area is A=wl. Plug in what we know and your formula looks like this:

6=(3/8L)L

3/8= 0.375
so 6 / 0.375 = 16
