He was a survivor of the Holocaust, to him it was unimaginable to experience how jews were treated in Auschwitz.

Elie Wiesel felt bold and had an extreme drive to live, but he became angry when he realized how the guards were treating people in the concentration camps, and when he saw how they treated his father.
