ANSWER:

Length: 160 yards

Width: 130 yards

Explanation:

The perimeter is the sum of all the sides, in a rectangle then it would be twice the length and twice the width. We know that the length is 30 yards more than the width, so we can set the following:

\begin{gathered} p=2\cdot L+2\cdot W \\ L=30+W \\ \text{ Replacing} \\ 580=2\cdot(30+W)+2W \\ 580=60+2W+2W \\ 4W=580-60 \\ W=(520)/(4) \\ W=130 \\ \text{Now, for L} \\ L=30+130 \\ L=160 \end{gathered}

The length is 160 yards and the width is 130 yards.
