Make a prediction as to how an earthquake could affect a species ability to survive and reproduce? Justify your response in two or more complete sentences.

Lets make a scenario. There is a species of monkey that reproduce in trees, and earthquake rattles the trees causing most of the trees to fall down. They can not reproduce now unless they do so out the trees. Birds for instance may have this problem. Same thing for animals that may live in trees. They can no longer do so.

An earthquake might produce a geographical separation, thereby organisms could suffer genetic drift. This mechanism make a contribution to survival depending on the diversity, while earthquake might affect the availability of food sources on each side of the geographical regions
