so you know the how to find the area for a saquare A=a*b first we have to find the area for a circle 10*10=100 A=100cm (2) is the area for our circle

so we have half of the circle so formula for that is A=(πr(2))/2 we know the radius is 5 A=3.14*25/2

A=78.5/2 reason why we are dividing by this number to 2 because we have half of the circle A=39.25 then add two areas together A=100+39.25=....
