Answer:

From the given figure we can see that :---

JK||ML, JK=ML and JM=KL

Therefore,

angle J+ angle L = 180°

(7x + 2) + (25x - 14) = 180 \\ 32x - 12 = 180 \\ 32x = 192 \\ \boxed{x = 6}

Now, we know that, angle M = angle L

Hence,

25x - 14 \\ =( 25 * 6) - 14 \\ =150 - 14 \\ = \boxed{136}

Angle M is 136°.

Answer:

  • 136°

Explanation:

Since the trapezoid is isosceles, the angles J and M are supplementary and angles M and L are congruent, therefore:

  • ∠J + ∠M = 180°
  • ∠J + ∠L = 180°
  • 7x + 2 + 25x - 14 = 180°
  • 32x = 192
  • x = 192/32
  • x = 6

∠M = ∠L = 25*6 - 14° = 150° - 14° = 136°
