The impact the end of the war had on the colonies was that the American colonies had to forget their differences in order to join forces to fight the British in the American Revolution.
Great Britain invested a lot of many in the war and lost many soldiers. One way to recuperate the money lost in the war was the possibility to charge taxes on the colonies. That is why England increased the amount of money to be paid on taxes, causing a general upset in the colonies. That anger from the people in America eventually caused the Revolutionary War. They were heavy taxed by the British and had no representation at all in the Parliament, so the Revolution started.
