Substitute value of y from 2nd equation in first equation,
2x + y = -2
2x - 3x - 5 = -2
-x = -2 + 5
x = -3
Now, y = -3(-3) - 5
y = 9 - 5 = 4
In short, Your Answer would be: (-3, 4)
Hope this helps!
