The area formula for a triangle is: ½b•h, where b is the base and h is the height. So half of the base, 4, is 2. Now multiply 2 by the height, 6. That will give you an answer of 12. I hope this was helpful!
A=½b•h
A=½4•6
A=2•6
A=12
