On the set of axes below, graph the function y=|x+1|.

If you know what a y=|x| graph looks like (a v with the point at the origin) then y=|x+1| is the same graph shifted to the left one unit.

Otherwise, I would plug in x-values to find corresponding y-values so you can plot points. For example, when x is 0, y=1
