There is a building, if you are observing from the outside it looks like a parallelogram with one of the interior angles as 108. What will be the exterior angle that can be used for parking?

I've attached an image of a paralelogram.

Now, we are told that from the outside it looks like a parallelogram with one of the interior angles as 108.

This means that the bigger angle internally would be 108°

Which from the attached image is angle B internally or angle D internally.

So, the interior angle observed will be either at point B or D on the parallelogram.

Now, the sum of angles on a straight line is 180°

Thus,

Internal angle D + External Angle D = 180

Or

Internal angle B + External Angle B = 180

Internal angle is 108°

Thus;

External angle for either B or D = 180 - 108 = 72°

So the exterior angle to be used for parking is 72°
