Located on the peruvian-chilean trench, the western side of the Nazca plate share a divergent boundary with the Pacific Plate, forming the East Pacific Rise. Remember that this east pacific rise is known by being a divergent tectonic plate boundary located along the floor of the Pacific Ocean. This fault is the resonsible for the many earthquakes that are common in that area
