Unemployment rose dramatically in the united states in 1929 becauseĀ of WWI. American white soldiers left their jobs for the war cause, and in their place was African Americans. So, when the war ended and all the White soldiers came back from war, they all got unemployed. I hope I could help. Have a wonderful rest of the day.
